Infested grain can only be treated on the farm prior to loading a car. It is strictly prohibited to use any fumigants in any railway cars. Failure to comply with this prohibition will subject those assessing and unloading the car to potentially serious injuries and will result with substantial financial penalties.
The bill of lading contains a statement confirming that the car does not contain any fumigants. By releasing the bill of lading to us you are affirming that statement.
| | If you discover, after the car was shipped, that your grain may have been potentially infested, please notify us immediately so we can separate it and Terminal can be notified prior to unloading. This will result in fumigation charges to be kept at a very minimum.
