If a situation presents itself where you are unable to load a whole car (i.e. not enough contract, left over grain, etc), you have the option of loading a bulkhead car. You may share a car with another Producer or you can split a car on account of grade or protein.
| | Bulkhead cars can only be loaded with the same commodity. The Bulkhead form is available on the forms page of this website.
Please note additional costs apply in unloading a bulkhead car. It can also never be guaranteed that the car will be unloaded as bulkhead.
